Prof. Bart Van Looy

Biography
Bart Van Looy is a professor at KU Leuven in the Department of Managerial Economics, Strategy and Innovation, Faculty of Business and Economics. He is co-promoter of ECOOM, overseeing service and research activities in technometrics and patent analysis, and is responsible for research at INCENTIM, which focuses on innovation, technology and knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship in collaboration with Eurostat and the European Commission’s DG Research.
His research centres on innovation processes at firm level and on regional innovation systems, including entrepreneurial universities and science–technology interactions.
