iPSC generation

We generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from a range of primary human cell sources, using a non-integrating reprogramming method and stringent quality control.

Starting material

We can generate iPSCs from various primary human cell sources, including:

  • Fibroblasts

The most widely used and well-established cell type for iPSC reprogramming.

  • Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)

Easily accessible and readily reprogrammable into iPSCs.

  • Urine-derived cells

A non-invasive source of somatic cells suitable for iPSC reprogramming.

  • Epithelial cells

Derived from tissues such as oral mucosa or amniotic fluid, offering an alternative reprogramming source.

Reprogramming method

We routinely use Sendai viral vectors, a non-integrating method for reprogramming. Colonies are carefully monitored to ensure complete clearance of the Sendai virus.

We are also open to alternative reprogramming methods, such as mRNA-based techniques, on request.

Quality control

Quality control of the reprogrammed iPSC lines is available on request. We follow stringent quality control measures accepted by the scientific community, including but not limited to:

  • Genomic integrity evaluation
  • Mycoplasma sterility testing
  • Trilineage differentiation potential assessment
  • Pluripotency verification

These measures ensure the reliability and quality of the generated iPSC lines.
